Smiggle, Australia's hottest stationery brand, was born in 2003 when Stephen Meurs noticed a gap in the Australian market for fashion-forward stationery.

The first Smiggle opened in South Yarra followed by Southland, Brighton, Melbourne Central and Hawthorn. Customers were amazed by the Smiggle experience and so word spread about the new kid in town.

With the Smiggle craze taking over, the company soon hit 20 stores and caught the eye of the Just Group. Smiggle ended up being sold to the Just Group in August 2007 and hasn't looked back since.

The product line is now bigger and better - it's all part of the plan to be the world's most famous stationery brand. With all-new hot designs as well as fresh new fabrications including faux leather, shiny metallics and glossy reptile skins, Smiggle can now offer more ways to express yourself.

Deep down in the heart of Smiggle the core values are still the same. Smiggle is still about great design, great value, colour & graphics, being clever, being coordinated, being eco aware and most of all having fun!
