We're proud to be partnering again with Dolly's Dream for this year's
Do It For Dolly Day on Friday the 14th May. Do It For Dolly Day is about bringing the
community together, spreading kindness and uniting in taking a stand against bullying.
Each year we see thousands of our wonderful community participate and help share the Dolly's Dream message through spreading kindness and we're so happy to be involved!
How we're getting involved:
Our teams will all be wearing blue on Do It For Dolly Day, Dolly's favourite colour. We encourage anyone visiting our stores on Friday the 14th May to do the same.
We're raising awareness about the importance of choosing kindness by encouraging fans to share a kind message with their family, their friends or on social using the
#bekind & #DoItForDollyDay
This May 14th lets all Do it for Dolly and help create a safe and kinder world for Australian kids.

Our aim is to spread awareness about the importance of being safe and kind in school and online throughout the Smiggle community and to encourage our fans to help end bullying and build a kinder world for all.
More About Dolly's Dream
At the beginning of 2018, the country was devastated by the loss of 14-year-old Dolly Everett. Dolly ended her own life after an extended period of bullying and online bullying. Established in Dolly’s memory by her parents, Kate and Tick Everett and her sister Meg, Dolly’s Dream acts as a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and works to prevent other precious lives being lost to bullying.
Dolly’s Dream works to educate parents and communities on the issues of bullying and online bullying, its devastating effects and how to deal with it.
They want to empower people to be able to recognise bullying when it happens and then be brave enough to stand up and talk about it, to speak even if your voice shakes.
To safeguard the future of Dolly's Dream and to ensure it operates to its full potential, Kate and Tick Everett choose to work with the Alannah & Madeline Foundation - a national children's charity that Smiggle has been partnering with for the last 2 years.
